In the morning I usually wake up around 7 am, after hygiene and rehydration I have breakfast and spend some more time with my daughter and wife (when they are not sleeping yet) and then I go to training, where I arrive around half past 9. After training and recovery, I return home for lunch between 13-14 o'clock, then my family and I mostly go for a walk and spend time together.

CAREER AND CURRENT EXPERIENCE

David, can you give us a closer look at what a professional footballer's day looks like?

In the morning I usually wake up around 7 am, after hygiene and rehydration I have breakfast and spend some more time with my daughter and wife (when they are not sleeping yet) and then I go to training, where I arrive around half past 9. After training and recovery, I return home for lunch between 13-14 o'clock, then my family and I mostly go for a walk and spend time together. This is followed by some rest and food preparation, and around 6pm we have dinner. After dinner, we bathe our daughter and prepare her for bed, and then we watch a movie or watch football.

How do you assess your career progress so far and what moments do you consider to be key?

The development of my career is not a fairytale, it is more of a roller coaster where it goes both up and down, but that is often the case. I am happy for what I have been able to experience so far in my career and I hope there is a lot more to come. I consider the key moment a year's knee injury at the age of 20, which, although it took me a year of my football life, but at the same time gave me a lot.

What are the challenges you face on and off the field?

I think it's best to be a good father and husband. At the same time, I keep improving in football, where now the biggest challenge for me is to play the first league steadily.

GOALS AND AMBITIONS

What are your short and long term goals in your football career?

The short-term goal is to play steadily and score goals in the first league, the long-term goal is to move on, either to a better Czech team or to some foreign one.

What is your biggest dream to pursue in football?

My dream would be to play a match at the stadium of my favourite club Chelsea FC, that is Stamford Bridge.

What role does regeneration play in your training plan and how do GREEZIIS products help you?

Regeneration is extremely important for me, the basis is quality sleep and diet, but I try to use other means for regeneration that suit me and which include GREEZIIS ointments, which help me relax my muscles and regenerate faster.

What is your personal experience with GREEZIIS?

I have experience with three ointments, the regenerating ointment relaxes the muscles after a hard workout, the cold one is pleasant especially on warm days and I use the warmer most in winter, where the ointment helps to warm up the muscles and thus also to prevent injuries.

Is there any particular routine you're not going to let go of when it comes to post-match regeneration?

I don't stick much on routines, so it depends on a lot of circumstances, but it's best to regenerate after a match won.

INSPIRATION AND PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE

What values and principles guide you in life and career?

I value health the most in my life. Whether it's my health or that of my family and friends and I try to do my best for my health. Furthermore, I base myself on trust, which is very important to me.

Can you share the moment that inspired you the most in your career or changed your outlook on sports?

It's probably that personal experience with a year-long injury where I couldn't do for a long time what I've been doing since I was a little kid and realized a lot of things I probably wouldn't have realized if it weren't for the injury and didn't appreciate so many things that I value now.

How do you deal with the pressure and expectations that come with being a professional athlete?

Usually my family and friends help me with the pressure, when in their presence I don't have to think about football and I can completely relax, both physically and mentally.
